EXID member-actress Hani will share a deeply personal side of herself on the July 14 episode of MBN’s “Dr. Oh’s Stay”. Continuing from the previous week’s episode, Hani revealed how the keyword “perceptiveness” defined much of her life—and how it may have been misunderstood all along.

Throughout the episode, Hani was visibly anxious, constantly glancing around and appearing restless. She explained “Since I was young, I could always sense other people’s emotions”, describing a life lived trying to anticipate others’ feelings before her own. But then came her surprising confession: “Recently, I realized I might actually be terrible at reading people.”

Hani attributed much of her emotional conflict to the pressures of being in the public eye. “Being in a profession where everything is on display, where what I do matters so much… the expectations just became overwhelming—especially after going viral through fancams.”

She also spoke about letting go of the need for control, sharing how she took time off to travel, including a temple stay in India, to reconnect with herself. “I think I’ve been given this time to prepare for doing the things I truly want,” she said. Dr. Oh Eun-young offered an unexpected insight: “You’re missing the most important kind of perceptiveness.”

The renowned psychiatrist noted that while Hani may be hyper-aware of others, she might be ignoring deeper emotional signals—both her own and others’ true intentions. This comment raised curiosity among viewers about what Dr. Oh sees as the true essence of perceptiveness.
